Controlling quality of service for edge offloading
The idea of distributing cloud-like virtualized servers at the network edge, providing computing and storage resources in physical proximity to the user equipment has attracted significant attention from both industry and academia in recent years.
Efficient offloading architecture model
In the proposed architecture model, we use the feedback control loop. Based on the measured system QoS, feedback loop gives the opportunity to almost instantaneously adjust system towards meeting the desired system performance.
Edge node selection and handoff control
We answer the questions: “On which node should a task be offloaded for the execution?” and “Is it an appropriate moment to move execution to another node or not? ”.

Computation offloading is a task of sending computation- and data-intensive application components to a resource-rich remote infrastructure for the execution.
